Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Extrusion Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production workflows. Your expertise will help us produce top-tier plastic extrusions that meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
Working pattern: 3-shift rotation of 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00 each week.
Duties
Pack finished product as per packaging specification.
Maintain the work area to a high standard ensuring it's clean, tidy & safe at all times.
Conduct visual checks on each part during manufacture for defects ensuring your Lead Operator is informed immediately and a detailed count of failures are recorded.
Conduct regular length checks on each part during manufacture for compliance ensuring your Lead Operator is informed immediately of failure and a detailed count of failures are recorded.
Complete all production documentation efficiently and accurately.
Support the Shift team with any other tasks requested of you.
Attend any training courses as and when required.
Requirements

An NVQ in Manufacturing Operation would be advantageous
A Counterbalance Forklift certificate would be advantageous.
