Nursery Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their earliest years?

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our early years team. The successful candidate will support the learning, development and wellbeing of our youngest children, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and confident to learn. Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality provision that promotes curiosity, independence and positive relationships.

Position:

EYFS - Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location:

St Andrew's CE Primary School, Weald Drive, Crawley, RH10 6NU

Start Date:

ASAP

Contract Type:

Permanent, Term Time Only

Hours:

Full-time (Monday to Friday) 8:30 - 3:30

Salary:

West Sussex Grade 3 or 4, depending on qualifications and experience

Has experience working with children aged2 to 4 years in an early years or childcare setting Understands the needs of very young children and can support their care, play, and development Works well in a team and communicates effectively with both colleagues and families Has a calm, flexible and positive approach to their work Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting all children, including those with SEND Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
