To plan, deliver, and evaluate inspiring outdoor learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS framework and Forest School ethos, supporting children's holistic development, curiosity, and connection with nature.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Forest School sessions tailored to EYFS children.
Ensure activities link to EYFS learning areas and developmental outcomes.
Promote independence, risk-taking, and problem-solving through nature-based play.
Safely use and maintain outdoor tools, equipment, and resources.
Carry out risk assessments for outdoor activities and environments.
Foster children's confidence, resilience, and respect for the natural world.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
Work in partnership with parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's learning.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment outdoors and indoors.
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and setting policies at all times.
