Job Description

Supply Heroes are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a fun, supportive, and highly respected mainstream primary school in Erdington, Birmingham. The school have supportive staff that are dedicated to helping all students succeed and have a strong focus on student well-being and mental health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual 1:1 support to a pupil/ pupils with Autism, ADHD, Additional Needs as well as giving additional classroom support where needed. Therefore, somebody who has a passion of working in SEN, good adaptability and strong relationship building will thrive in this role.

The ideal candidate will have:

A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree in Education - or something relevant*
Experience of working with pupils with SEN and EYFS children Personal Care is Needed A depth of knowledge of the primary school curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive and patient approach
