Role Description

This is a self-employed on-site role located in Upper Caldecote, Bedfordshire for a Pattern Cutter. The Pattern Cutter will be responsible for creating precise fabric patterns, interpreting design requirements, and ensuring all materials meet the quality standards for luxury cushion production. Tasks include measuring, cutting, and preparing fabric, as well as collaborating with the production and design team to achieve tailored, high-quality results efficiently.

Hours:

Tuesday - Thursday

10am - 4pm (can be very flexible, with the opportunity to increase depending on experience)

We are very flexible, and hours can be offered to fit around childcare, pet care, other responsibilities/commitments etc. Ideally between 9am - 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Qualifications

(none required apart from a good work ethic and neat cutting skills, an interest in pattern cutting or textiles etc)

Preferred Abilities:

Proficiency in cutting fabric and measuring Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure cutting accuracy Understanding of textiles and materials Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with others Ability to prioritise and manage time in a fast-paced production environment Prior experience in tailoring, upholstery, or related fields will be highly considered Occasional helping other departments in terms of packing, sorting orders and checking fabric stock
