Team Overview:

The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead and supervise the fabrication team in the production of stainless-steel pipe fabrication using both manual and robotic welding techniques. The role ensures high-quality output, adherence to safety standards, and efficient workflow management.

What You'll be Doing

The role involves overseeing the setup and daily operations of the welding and fabrication area, ensuring all equipment is operational, production schedules are met, and quality and safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities include planning and allocating workloads, supervising staff, providing technical guidance in stainless steel welding, and conducting inspections and quality checks. The position requires collaboration with engineering and planning teams to optimize processes, enforcing health and safety compliance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles. Additional duties include training and mentoring staff, maintaining accurate production and performance records, managing subcontractors and site safety requirements, leading team meetings and reviews, and ensuring smooth end-of-shift handovers and reporting.
