Tighten Ltd are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in fabrication processes. This role involves working with various materials to create components and assemblies that meet specified designs and quality standards.

Duties

Utilise basic maths skills to interpret measurements and specifications accurately. Operate welding equipment, including stick welding, to join metal components effectively. Fabricate parts from sheet metal using power tools and hand tools, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications. Assemble components and structures as per engineering drawings, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process. Conduct routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly stick welding, is essential. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
