We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabricating components from sheet metal. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques, particularly stick welding, and the ability to assemble various parts using both power and hand tools. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products.

Duties

Fabricate components from sheet metal according to specifications and drawings. Operate welding equipment to weld parts together, ensuring structural integrity and quality. Assemble fabricated parts into final products, adhering to safety and quality standards. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, particularly with sheet metal work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in welding techniques, especially stick welding, is essential. Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all fabrication tasks.
