Main duties
MIG and TIG welding of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Using metal cutting and forming machinery and hand tools - Training will be provided.
Training will be provided to enable you to manufacture bespoke fabrications from detailed engineering drawings, including welding and finishing to company procedures and coding's.
Working with a small technical team during design review stage to establish manufacturing methods and techniques for new orders.
You will be encouraged to be a team player and provide feedback on problem solving and suggestions on improvements for manufacture.
Person Specification
Time Served in a recognised training program.
Experience of welding and fabricating of some thicknesses within the range of 2mm to 10mm in Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
Proficiency in the use of TIG and/or MIG.
Have a good fabrication knowledge with understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Have an excellent attention to detail, and a flexible attitude towards problem solving and the continuous improvement of manufacturing methods.
Have a pleasant and positive manner, take pride in your work, and enjoy working to high standards of accuracy and surface finish.
