Hours:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday, 30-minute unpaid break)
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Facilities Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that combines building maintenance, health and safety compliance, event setup, supply chain support, and small fleet coordination. Key Responsibilities
Building Maintenance:
Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
Perform minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, tightening furniture).
Health & Safety:
Assist with compliance tasks such as fire alarm tests and emergency lighting checks.
Act as a fire warden and respond to security incidents when required.
Room & Event Setup:
Arrange furniture for meetings and events.
Set up AV/IT equipment as needed.
Supplies & Inventory:
Monitor and replenish office supplies, consumables, and cleaning materials.
Place orders when stock is low and move furniture/equipment as required.
Supply Chain & Logistics:
Support stock management and shipping coordination.
Assist with travel coordination and small fleet management.
Skills & Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence (essential for occasional travel and fleet tasks).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Basic maintenance and repair skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Ability to lift and move furniture/equipment.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with AV/IT setup is desirable.
