As a Facilities Assistant you will be key to keeping the Society's sites running smoothly and to maintain high standards for all users. In this role, you'll coordinate and respond to service requests from teams across our sites, support day-to-day operations, and ensure processes and procedures are followed to support sustainability and health & safety compliance.
You'll work closely with the Maintenance, Landscapes and Projects teams to help prioritise and address requests, assist with implementing systems and statutory health & safety requirements, contributing to a safe and efficient environment for everyone.
You will also provide valuable administrative and project support to the Facilities Manager and Director of Estates, helping with coordination, documentation, scheduling, and tracking progress on key initiatives to ensure priorities are effectively addressed.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly competent in administrative systems, coordination, and who would take pride in supporting us as a conservation charity on a mission to Save Wildlife Together.
With a new strategy in place to create a world-class Bristol Zoo and conservation and sustainability at its heart, the new Bristol Zoo Project will offer spacious, modern facilities, significant growth in our conservation and education work, and an innovative and exciting visitor experience.
The role will help to realise our vision of saving wildlife together, and you will be involved in supporting our transformation programme - driving visitor numbers at Bristol Zoo Project and excitement as plans for the new Zoo progress.
