Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator



Location: Wimbledon, London (Office-based with occasional site visits)
Contract: 6 months (Temp-to-Perm)
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm,
Start Date: ASAP

Snowik is a property maintenance company providing reactive property maintenance and building services to the domestic and commercial sectors in the London and greater London area. We take on planned refurbishment projects within the M25 area.

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:



To receive engineer's reports following their attendance and prepare into quotations (including quotations by phone and stay and fix quotations when an engineer calls from site).

The role involves checking the accuracy of reports and parts to be ordered for repairs based on the engineer's reports.

To order parts via suppliers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



To provide accurate cost estimates and supporting technical information to enable the Company to submit competitive quotes to customers.

Discussing reports with engineers in order to formulate a quote for the client that accurately reflects work done and work needed.

Communicating with the engineers and providing guidance on technical repair issues where needed.

Supporting engineers who will be contacting suppliers to find accurate parts for repairs in efficient manner and arranging the logistics to have it available for the engineer before repair job starts.

Ordering and registering parts; receiving parts ready to despatch to engineers.

Checking budget on works is maintained and jobs are within allocated deadlines.

Warehouse management and parts despatching.

Learning how to apply pricing of quotes works following job completion.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED



Confident to speak with engineers to get updates on the jobs and communicate to client.

Excellent technical knowledge of different trades particularly reactive maintenance.

Excellent customer service skills, especially when approaching clients.

Excellent telephone manners and professional call handling skills.

Strong time management skills and working with tight deadlines.

Good organisation skills for prioritising jobs and managing workload.

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, excel and word.

Ability to undertake tasks and take ownership from start to completion (KEY SKILL!)

Qualifications and Skills



BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent is very desirable but not essential.

A full clean driving license and be willing to travel within London on ad hoc basis.

H&S Training

Experience of working in a similar environment.

Experience of managing people and clients' portfolios.

Very good IT skills especially MS office and fast typing.

Very good attention to detail.

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to work autonomously and maintain performance with minimal supervision is essential.

The ideal candidate will have adequate experience working as Main Contractor operating under residential projects and be very well organised. This role will be quite suitable for a multi-trader/ex builder or alternatively someone working on a large development onsite daily with many years of experience looking for an office position. Although the role is largely office based occasional site visits will be required for quoting, organising materials, meeting clients and monitoring the deadlines and progress of the projects.

The role commands the use of the full suite of Microsoft Office programmes, quick adaptation of internal property software, communicating well on apps and emails.

6 months contract with the potential of going pernament.

Holidays - 28 days pro-rata
