This role is pivotal to our business and ensures the continuous delivery of operational services to our staff and clients including the provision of a safe, comfortable and compliant working environment. Facilities Management is not an industry that ever stops and this is an exciting opportunity where no two days are ever the same. You will be supporting our business and will be involved in all facility and property related services including anything from catering to power downs and landscaping to engineering projects.

We are looking for a good customer services ambassador who is an excellent communicator. Candidates must understand core facility and building management requirements and need to be able to provide updates to staff at all levels. Experience in key stakeholder management, vendor management and budget management are desired for this role.

Ideally, we would like candidates to be a member of a relevant association, for example, the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) or the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) but this is not essential. Basic certified health and safety training such as general Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is desirable, although we are willing to provide training.

Responsible for the day to day management of the cost-effective overall service delivery of all real estate and facility services in Quilter\xe2\x80\x99s main office(s) in Southampton.

Direct vendor management of our incumbent to ensure all services (including but not limited to) mechanical and electrical maintenance, projects (hard services) and catering, cleaning and landscaping (soft services) are delivered as per our contractual agreement.

Particular focus on contractual KPI and SLA management, key-stakeholder relationship management, risk, health and safety and collaborative working while promoting and adhering to a professional industry \xe2\x80\x98code of conduct\xe2\x80\x99. There may also be some occasional management of our conference suite and furniture/office moves.

Whilst this is not directly a customer facing role, the duties performed will underpin, support and contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers by ensuring a safe and regulatory compliant workspace and clean and comfortable environment for all our staff and visitors.

Ideally you will be a confident customer services focussed communicator and a keen problem solver.

You will have extensive experience in managing facility management and building services including contractual obligations, service level agreements and key performance indicators.

You will understand how technical systems operate and will be able to explain issues and solutions to in a clear and understandable format.

You will be familiar with audits, risks and how to manage them.

Member of IWFM/IFMA or working towards.

IOSH/NEBOSH qualified or working towards.
