Are you ready to play a key role in one of Liverpool's most historic rugby clubs? We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Facilities Manager and Designated Premises Supervisor to take charge of our beloved clubhouse, pitches, and event spaces--keeping everything running smoothly while ensuring the spirit of rugby thrives off the pitch.
This is more than just maintenance and running the bar - it's about creating a safe, welcoming hub for players, fans, families and the local community.
What You'll Be Doing
Keep Our Clubhouse at Its Best
Ensure facilities are well-maintained, clean, and ready for action
Manage contractors and suppliers to deliver top-notch service
Lead inspections and oversee maintenance schedules
Create budgets for approval and once approved manage the budgets and be proactive about reporting anticipated changes
Act as a key holder
Bring Events and Match Days to Life
Manage the club bar, including organising staffing
Co-ordinate all club bookings, including social events and external hires
Support social functions, celebrations, and third-party hires
Be the go-to for hospitality and customer experience
Hold the Licence with Confidence
Act as our designated premises supervisor
Monitor compliance with licensing and safety regulations
Liaise with local authorities and keep documentation up to date
What We're Looking For
You're someone who:
Has experience in facilities or operations management
Is a Personal Licence Holder (or willing to become one)
Knows how to handle compliance with confidence
Thrives in a busy, people-centred environment
Is available for evenings, weekends, and match days - this is a full-time job, working up to 48 hours across the week, with at least one day a week off. Evening and weekend work is not year-round but largely focused around peak times, typically during the rugby season.
