Job Description

UCFB is looking to appoint a Facilities Manager to support the Head of Facilities & Sport on the development and implementation of the UCFB Facilities Strategy.


They will also be responsible for delivering a high quality, effective and efficient facilities management function and logistical operation for Campus facilities, one that supports high levels of student and staff satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development

: Manage Facilities Officers and front of house teams, providing leadership, line management, and development support.

Facility Operations

: Ensure the effective operation of UCFB Campus facilities, including logistics, maintenance, security, storage and cleaning.

Service Management

: Oversee contracts and in-house services such as front-of-house, catering, security, and office management.

Academic & Event Coordination

: Work with the registry team to align facility availability with academic timetables and events.

Stadium & Facility Oversight

: Manage stadium conversion procedures, external partnerships, and contract monitoring.

Health & Safety Compliance

: Ensure compliance with health and fire safety regulations, acting as Fire Marshal where required.

Security & Access Control

: Oversee access control, security liaison, pass production, and stadium supplier co-ordination.
