Equans is looking for a Facilities Manager (Soft FM) to join our team in

Winsford. This is a full-time permanent role. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

WHAT WILL YOU DELIVER?





The role consists of, but is not limited to, the following key activities:


Develop and manage the provision and application of EQUANS and Cheshire West & Chester Council business. processes, administration of face-to-face teams. Respond to the changing demands of the contract by providing a streamlined flexible. service to consistent, measurable and agreed KPI's. Contribute to decisions and future development of the overall contract delivery, ensure that support is to a consistent standard which generates and captures efficiencies. Main point of contact for Business Operations and Soft FM between Client and EQUANS on all major events, e.g. Royal Events, Covid, Business Continuity. Lead coordinator alongside Democratic Services for General and Local Elections. Support and deliver a joined-up approach to new client initiatives e.g. No Wrong Front Door Monitor all aspects of operational performance within the scope of the contract. Provide assurance of service delivery and compliance to Senior Management, client and our customers. Ensure key performance indicators are met and that contractual commitments are. achieved or exceeded. Oversee and spot check Building Support performance in line with agreed daily checklists. Perform spot cleaning checks of corporate sites, check and challenge performance as required. Plan, review and manage operational activities, provide advice as required, activity engage and consult with services within the council to meet service demands. Communicate with customers, Services, Council staff and partners to ensure that the service delivery is proactive, innovative, flexible and responsive to meet their changing demands. Lead, manage and develop staff to enable the team to deliver key operational functions of Workplace Solutions. Approve and challenge financial expenditure. Ensure and promote health, safety and wellbeing at work for staff and customers. Responsible for revenues, budgets, Soft FM contracts, people and other resources over which the role is responsible. Plan, review, manage and monitor operational and organisational activities in accordance with professional and legal requirements (including Statutory, H&S and technical). Ensure excellent customer focussed services are delivered effectively and efficiently to a wide range of customers (service users, staff, stakeholders and contractors) and that continual improvement is achieved through the review process. Identify and manage changes within the wider environment which may impact upon Services provided by Administration, cascading this information to colleagues and Head of Service Delivery as appropriate. Manage the provision of building security related activity for Council buildings (staff and visitors), maintain the appropriate data records to ensure managed access to buildings. Attend operational meetings with the client Services, manage change and expectations. Have an awareness of building safety and fire evacuations for the main corporate sites. Support contractual compliance across the contract including building logbook audits, KPI's and relevant legislation. Ensure IT systems holding compliance data are accurate and up to date. Respond to queries relating to Health & Safety/ Building Safety issues. Consult with the corporate SHEQ team including attendance at meetings as required. Develop and maintain close working relations with client services, external bodies and always ensure effective communication. Provide specific advice and support to facilitate the effective management of the Clients property assets.

WHO ARE YOU?




Qualifications/Experience




Excellent negotiation and procedural skills Full understanding of building compliance duties Ability to develop effective relations with senior management, customers, staff and clients. Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic IT literate with knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Able to take a positive approach to problem solving. Able to adapt and support change positively. Conduct project reporting in line with required deadlines. Identify, mitigate and manage projects and operational risks. Hold a full driving licence
