Job Description

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunities to join our Facilities Team as a Facilities Operative at St. Woolos Hospital in Newport.



We are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals who are committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.



There are 2 posts available with the following work patterns:

Post 1 - 15 hours to be worked 17:00 - 20:00 over 5 shifts per week as part of a 4 week rota.



Post 2 - 15 hours to be worked 17:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday



Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office's criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed



The duties within each function will be set out in the relevant job schedules. The assignment of these duties will meet the priority needs and demands of the service as identified by the manager/supervisor. The post-holder will therefore be expected to take a flexible approach to their duties, and must also be able to cover rosters.



The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
