Factory Area Supervisor
to join our busy production team in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a respected, high-quality engineering environment.What you'll be doing:
? Leading and motivating your area team to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards
? Managing attendance, holiday requests and job bookings in Kronos
? Taking a proactive approach to health & safety and environmental best practice
? Overseeing daily inspections, documentation, and quality control
? Supporting the Factory Manager with workforce planning, training needs, and continuous improvement
? Playing a key role in production planning meetings and audits
What you'll bring:
?? At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
?? Previous supervisory experience with a hands-on, practical approach
?? Working knowledge of health & safety best practice
?? Good communication and people skills to get the best out of your team
?? Basic IT and reporting skills
