Overview

We are looking for a Solicitor with experience in Family & Immigration law, who will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in all areas of Family & Immigration law.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of family law matters and Experience in providing legal advice and representation in immigration matters, including visa applications, appeals, and asylum cases.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients in family law and Immigration matters. Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely progression of cases while maintaining high standards of client care. Draft legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court submissions with precision and attention to detail. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to facilitate smooth case management. Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to reach amicable resolutions where possible. Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices to provide informed advice. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Utilise IT systems for case management, documentation, and communication purposes efficiently.

Experience

Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate and experience in family law & Immigration. Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with IT systems relevant to legal practice is highly desirable. A compassionate approach towards clients facing emotional challenges during legal proceedings is crucial.
