We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our family law team in our Exeter Office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Paralegal and preferably have some family law experience but this isn't essential. You will be responsible for providing support to our lawyers within our offices covering Children, domestic abuse and care work.

We are happy to accept full time or part time but part time hours must be minimum 4 days per week Monday - Thursday only.

Responsibilities:

Typing your own letters, file notes, statements and other documents. Regularly meeting with Lawyers you work for to keep each other to date with progress on cases and planning future work. Carrying out various tasks delegated by Lawyers, for instance client's statements, instructions to Counsel, applications etc. Managing own files under close supervision. Attending meetings with clients and third parties and all follow up work. Attending Court when required to do so. Making on-line Legal Aid applications and follow up work. Making and receiving telephone calls from clients and third parties. Time recording to meet an annual target.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,000.00-25,000.00 per year
