A well-established law firm in Redditch is looking for a Legal Secretary to join its team, providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners and directors across multiple departments, with a focus on care work.
Responsibilities include:
Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to fee earners.
Produce correspondence, legal documents, and file notes (audio and copy typing).
Maintain case management systems and client files accurately.
Handle filing, archiving, and retrieval of documents.
Liaise with clients professionally, both in person and over the phone.
Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements.
Assist with reception/switchboard cover when required.
Ensure compliance with firm procedures, policies, and regulatory standards (SQM/CQS).
Attend training and departmental meetings as required.
What we need from you:
Typing speed of 60-70 wpm with a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide professional client care.
Previous experience in Family Law is desirable.
