Brokerfy Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading regional law firm to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Family Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Legal 500 recognised practice with an excellent reputation across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, and the East Midlands. Our client is seeking a confident legal professional with a minimum of one year's post-qualification experience, particularly in matrimonial and private children matters.
Duties
Provide expert legal advice across a broad spectrum of family law, including divorce, private children matters, injunctions, and financial settlements.
Represent clients in court, negotiations, and mediations with professionalism and confidence.
Draft legal documentation including petitions, court submissions, and client correspondence accurately and efficiently.
Effectively manage your own caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept fully informed.
Conduct client consultations both in person and virtually, displaying excellent interpersonal skills.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of family law and Legal Aid procedures.
Work collaboratively within a supportive legal team while also operating independently.
Always maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.
Qualifications
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a valid practising certificate.
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in family law.
Proven expertise in matrimonial and private children matters; knowledge of injunctions is essential.
Experience with Legal Aid is highly advantageous.
Excellent time management, organisational, and IT skills.
Strong communication and client care skills.
A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting clients during sensitive and challenging times.
