is a dynamic and client-focused law firm with a growing Family Department. We are currently seeking an experiencedFamily Solicitor (3+ years PQE)
who has solid experience handlinglegal aid matters
, including publicly funded cases and advocacy.Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of family law matters including
care proceedings
,private children matters
,domestic abuse
, andpublic law cases
Conduct your own advocacy where appropriate Provide advice to clients under legal aid and private funding Supervise and assist junior team members where required Prepare legal documents, statements, and court bundles Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records on LEAP Ensure compliance with LAA regulations and billing requirementsRequirements:
Minimum
3 years PQE
in family law Proven experience withlegal aid work
and LAA portals Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to manage a busy caseload independently Knowledge of LEAP (case management system) is desirable A team player with a commitment to client careJob Type: Full-time
Pay: 31,564.16-86,980.43 per year
