Farm Shop Manager
Job Description
Bradshaws Farm Shop has been operated by the family for over 50 years. It will now form the central component of a major redevelopment of the site which will see a new 8,000 sq ft building featuring farm shop / cafe, reformer pilates studio, beauty studio and children's day nursery. The site will also have a Padel Club and Clubhouse.
We are seeking an experienced farm shop manager to lead the day to day operations. The role will oversee all aspects of business within the farm shop / cafe, including but not limited to;
Running day to day operations
Budget management - cash flows & budgets
Stock control / ordering / inventory management
Ensure the site is clean, tidy and smart
Build relationships with local producers and suppliers
Monitor sales and customer feedback, and look for ways to improve performance
Work with owners to develop marketing initiatives, events, or promotions
Assist with social media content (not essential)
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a farm shop or retail management role (has previously managed a shop) Excellent organisational and customer service skills Competent in budgeting systems / software and inventory management software Food hygiene or health & safety qualifications (preferred)
Working Hours & Requirements
Minimum five days per week, including some weekends and holidays Must be comfortable with physical tasks (lifting produce, arranging displays, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 24,420.00-47,227.24 per year
