We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a fish & chips shop manager for out Coast Takeaway at Ladram Bay Holiday Park.

Family-owned & set in a beautiful private bay, we are proud of our 5status & the incredible magical memories we create. We know we don't do the standard holiday park food; we pride ourselves on being the best & providing quality food & excellent service. We have a strong team ethos & good reputation.
Coast Takeaway is situated at the heart of our park & is open to customers 5pm-9pm daily (closed Wednesdays) for take-away & a diner eat-in space. Our speciality is classic fish n chips, but we also boast a selection of other options with the ability to offer specials.

The Role:

- preparing, cooking/frying & presenting food to a high standard; fish cutting, potato rumbling being key areas of preparation

- maintaining good food & hygiene standards through stock control & correctly storing food

- signing in deliveries & putting them away

- maintaining cleaning & organisation across the preparation spaces, frying space, counter & diner

- rota & manage a small counter foh team

What we're looking for:

- Previous experience in kitchen (at least 1yr)

- Ability to operate fryers & prepare food

- A team player who works well alongside others - management experience desirable

- Passion for hospitality with the ability to work under pressure

- High standard of cleanliness & understanding of basic health & safety practise

- Flexible - must be available for evenings & weekend work

The details:

Full-time position (40hrs a week)

Seasonal until end of Nov - with possibility of contract extension

RoP 14-16/hr
