Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Supervise and train team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices. Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Foster a positive team atmosphere by encouraging collaboration and communication among staff. Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or promotions within the establishment.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food safety practices. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members alike. A solid understanding of hospitality principles to create memorable dining experiences.
