Job Description

The Academy of Contemporary Music (AC[M]) is seeking an experienced GCSE Maths Tutor
to join our Further Education provision based in Guildford town centre.
AC[M] is a specialist music and games college delivering FE programmes. Students who
have not yet achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and/or English are required to resit
alongside their vocational studies. Maths examinations are taken at our funding partner
institution, East Surrey College, and follow the Edexcel specification.
We are currently looking for a Maths Tutor to teach small groups of students across two
half-days per week during term time:
? Tuesdays, 9:00am - 1:00pm
? Thursdays, 9:00am - 12:00pm
At AC[M], we are proud of our creative, dedicated FE cohort, who are a pleasure to teach.
Many of our students are highly motivated to improve their Maths outcomes, recognising the
importance of achieving this qualification for their future progression. We are therefore
seeking a local, experienced tutor who can engage, inspire, and effectively support students'
learning and development.

Pay: 16.50 per hour
