About The Role

Telegraph Media Group is recruiting a Features Editor to join its highly successful Money desk and be the driving force behind Telegraph Money's features, long-form articles, case studies and first-person series.

The ideal candidate will be full of ideas and energy, and able to think of fresh ways to take on key topics of interest. You will have a knack for seeking untold stories, finding case studies to bring a topic to life and understanding trends that affect people's money, financial planning and lifestyle.

The Features Editor will be an integral member of the Money desk, expected to drive our daily coverage and work with reporters to ensure their stories are the best they can be.

The role reports to the Money Editor and plays a central role in overseeing a large team of reporters and writers responsible for The Telegraph's award-winning money coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Drive original, informative and entertaining personal finance journalism Commission and edit Money features, case-studies, first-person and long-form articles Work with reporters, both staff and freelance, to stimulate ideas and develop stories to optimum effect Spot potential stories or digital projects from raw data, case studies or news Use audience analytics to inform and improve idea generation and presentation Play an integral role in what is a stable, happy and ambitious team

Knowledgeable in all fields of personal finance A full contact book of reliable and experienced freelancers Experienced in digital publishing Comfortable with the use of analytics
