Job Summary



We are looking for a caring, reliable, and committed Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality care and support to individuals either in care homes or within their own homes, always promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily living activities and following personalised care plans designed to meet each client's individual needs.

Please note:

Due to the nature of our current care contracts, this position is open to

female applicants only

. As the role involves supporting clients in their own homes, applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



Provide personal care support, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with mobility and safe movement within their home or care setting. Communicate clearly and compassionately to understand clients' needs, wishes, and preferences. Follow and implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. Accurately record client progress and report any changes in health or wellbeing. Transport clients to appointments or social activities when required, ensuring their safety at all times. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment in line with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience



Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A full driving licence and confidence driving clients when required. Basic IT skills for record keeping and care management systems. Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential. Ability to follow care plans accurately and professionally. A compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Requirements



Availability to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and alternate weekends on a shift basis. A full, valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence with access to your own vehicle. Must currently reside in the UK (applications from overseas are not accepted). A genuine passion for caring and supporting others. Reliable, flexible, and a positive team player.
