Key Responsibilities
Assist with the brewing process of the product while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Conduct regular checks on fermentation parameters (temperature, pH, and pressure) to ensure compliance with production standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas according to industry standards and regulations
Document fermentation processes, results, and any deviations in batch records for traceability and compliance
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality; and troubleshooting on fermentation equipment to minimise downtime
Qualifications, skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Standard level of education - GCSE
Significant and proven experience in the following areas:
Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with industry regulations
Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Desirable:
Fermentation Experience
Production Experience
Basic use of Microsoft Office (Excel)
Previous experience within a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Personal qualities and skills:
Positive Attitude and proactive with a passion for problem-solving and quality control
Adaptable to change with the ability to adjust to new processes and changing priorities
Ability to work within a team setting and independently

Remuneration & Working Pattern
Remuneration for this post is 27,300 per annum. This post is a permanent position 37.5 hours per week, [8.00am to 4.00pm]. Occasional weekend work, 3 to 4-hour shift on a Sunday, may be required.
