Beech Tree Total Care is part of the Care at Home Services Group, a long-standing family run care company, providing domiciliary care through our Care branches, located across Kent and Sussex. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding levels of home care to our many clients within their local communities, and in nurturing our staff to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a Field Care Supervisor on a part time basis to join our Ashford Branch to monitor and support our care workers, ensuring that clients receive high quality, personalised care services in their own homes.

This is a busy role that requires strong organisational and communication skills and experience in the care industry is essential.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm on a 37.5 hpw basis with occasional on call duties required.

Role responsibilities

- Conduct regular field supervision and spot check of care workers.

- Provide ongoing support, coaching and mentoring to care workers, addressing any performance issues promptly.

- Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualised care plans in collaboration with the service user.

- Monitor the quality of care provide, ensuing it meets the clients' needs and preferences.

- Conduct regular reviews of care plans, updating them if needed to reflect changes in the client condition or needs.

- Investigate and resolve complaints or concerns raised by service users, their families or care workers.

- Maintain accurate and up to date records of supervision, training, and other relevant activities.

- Participate in on call duties as required, providing support and guidance to care workers outside of regular office hours.

Role requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of care experience

- A minimum of NVQ 3 or working towards

- Strong leadership/delegation

- Organisational and administrative skills

- Effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- In-depth knowledge of care standards and regulations

- Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation
