Orchid Care is now looking to appoint a dynamic Field Care Supervisor to join our fantastic team based in Enfield. We are growing as a business and as a result, now have a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about care who wishes to progress with a genuinely caring company.

Job Role

We are looking to recruit a field supervisor who will be responsible for implementing field-based quality monitoring systems and providing support to all care staff within a defined area.

Our Field Supervisor are our main link between the office and our Service Users and their most important responsibilities includes ensuring that our customers are receiving the care and support they expect and deserve, ensuring that our Care Workers are carrying out their duties to the high standard that we expect of them, and working closely with the office-based team.

The work will involve conducting assessments and reviewing on a regular basis how the service is delivered. Field Supervisors will spend the majority of their time out in the field with Service Users and Care Workers and will also be expected to come into office in order to complete necessary administrative duties and report back to the Registered Manager and Care Coordinators

Principle Responsibilities:

oArranging initial visits to, and the assessment of, prospective Service Users to decide whether Orchid Care is able to meet their personal care needs

oConduct Risk Assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and to update these as required as part of the Service User's risk management;

oDelivering personal and non-personal care to customers if necessary

oCarry out introductory visits every time a Care Worker visits a Service User for the first time;

To undertake on-call duties as directed and record all activities to the office
oLiaise closely with Care Coordinators regarding recruitment, permanent allocation of Care Workers and the writing of Care & Support Plans

oIdentify any training needs of Care Workers and report accordingly;

oConduct Care Reviews and respond to Individual Review Forms completed by Care Workers

oReport any changes in a Service User to the Care Coordinator

oMonitor, supervise and mentor all Care Workers in the field

oEncourage and identify opportunities for Care Workers' continuing professional development.

oMonitor all Service Users for customer satisfaction

oEnsure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in Service Users' homes;

oEnsure that all written reports and administration is up to date

oTo undertake MAR chart and daily log audits

oTo conduct spot checks

oLiaise closely with the Branch Manager and Care Coordinator in the office and report back regularly on activity in the field.

oHomecare: 1 year (Preferred)

oDrivers Licence and Transport (Preferred)
