We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee operations within our care home environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that our team delivers the highest standard of service. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to supervising staff, driving improvements, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations within the care home, ensuring compliance with care plans and organisational policies. Lead and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with services provided. Conduct regular assessments of care practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Collaborate with IT departments to ensure that all technological resources are utilised effectively within the care environment. Maintain accurate records of staff performance, incidents, and care plans to ensure transparency and accountability. Drive initiatives that promote resident well-being and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a senior care or healthcare setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with residents, families, and staff members. Knowledge of care plans and best practices in senior care is highly desirable. Ability to drive initiatives that improve service delivery while maintaining high standards of care. Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous but not mandatory. A compassionate approach towards elderly residents, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
