We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to lead and develop a small team of exceptional care professionals, delivering outstanding support to our home care clients.
Working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you will:
Supervise and support your team through regular coaching, training, observations, and supervision sessions.
Manage a personal caseload of clients by reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments.
Contribute to care delivery by covering care hours as part of the rota (including participation in the on-call rota).
Oversee a designated group of community clients, ensuring their care plans and risk assessments remain accurate and person-centred, while also delivering direct care.
This is a largely field-based role, with an approximate balance of:
80%
direct care
10%
team coaching, shadowing and support
10%
office/admin tasks (though this can vary)

The Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
Demonstrates passion for going the extra mile for clients and colleagues.
Has previous experience in care and/or leadership.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent--fully funded by us.
Shows adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a supportive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered and Deputy Managers in the efficient running of the service (primarily in Selsey area, with some cover in Chichester).
Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4).
Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care that is responsive to individual needs and preferences.
Motivate, mentor, and support your care team.
Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
