Job Title: Field Care Supervisor / Care Coordinator



Location: Based in Tetbury | Covering Gloucestershire and supporting Bristol

Salary: 27,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Full-Time | Permanent

Reports To: Registered Manager / Area Manager

We are currently looking for a proactive Field Care Supervisor / Care Coordinator to join our Tetbury-based team. This is a dynamic role combining both field-based responsibilities and coordination support, playing a vital part in maintaining our standards of care and service efficiency across Gloucestershire, with some involvement in Bristol.



Role Overview



This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You'll split your time between community visits and office-based duties, ensuring compliance, quality, and continuity of care services delivered by our agency staff.



Key Responsibilities



Field-Based Duties



Conduct initial care assessments, risk assessments, and service reviews with clients and providers Carry out regular spot checks and supervisions for agency care staff Support onboarding and induction processes for new workers Ensure all placements are delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care Visit client sites to maintain relationships and uphold service standards Respond to any urgent issues in the field and support resolution

Coordination / Office-Based Duties



Liaise with clients to understand and fulfil ongoing staffing needs Manage and update care rotas using internal systems Assist with last-minute shift cover and emergency bookings Maintain accurate staff compliance records and documentation Support with recruitment processes, interviews, and right-to-work checks Contribute to audits, CQC compliance preparation, and internal reviews Participate in the shared on-call rota as needed



About You



Essential:



Previous experience in a care coordination or supervisory role (domiciliary or agency setting) Sound understanding of CQC requirements and safe care delivery Excellent people and communication skills, with a calm and professional manner IT literate and confident in using rostering or care management software Full UK driving licence and access to a car

Desirable:



NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) Knowledge of the healthcare recruitment sector Familiarity with areas across Gloucestershire and Bristol
