We're looking for a

Field Engineering Team Leader

to lead a small, skilled field team, combining hands-on technical support with coaching, performance management and operational oversight. This position operates on a hybrid basis, with a mix of remote working and time spent in the office

What you'll be doing



Leading, motivating and supporting a field engineering team through a hands-on, player-coach approach Planning workloads, schedules and resources to meet SLAs and operational targets (including on-call) Providing field cover during peak periods, absences or where additional support is needed Coaching engineers through regular 1:1s, performance conversations and on-the-job support Monitoring key KPIs such as installation times, first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction Acting as an escalation point for complex technical or customer issues Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery Promoting safe working practices and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and customer experience

?Our ideal candidate will have:



Strong experience in field engineering, ideally within broadband, telecommunications or ISP environments Experience leading, mentoring or supporting other engineers (formally or informally) Solid technical knowledge of broadband installation, maintenance and fault resolution Experience working to operational targets and KPIs Good understanding of health & safety requirements in field operations Organised, proactive and comfortable managing changing priorities Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused approach Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required Valid passport and ability to travel within Europe when required

Desirable:



Additional language skills, particularly Spanish, French, German or Italian Full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00-38,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
