The Field Resource Controller will assist in scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring field operatives to ensure timely and effective deployment as well as contacting and liaising with end-users. This role requires strong organisational skills, clear cross-functional communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Scheduling & Dispatch:
Call end-customer sites to both arrange and confirm scheduled visits.
Maintain and drive schedules for field operatives.
Allocate jobs to available field operatives with consideration to capacity and location.
Communicate job details clearly and accurately to field operatives.
Respond to incoming requests for service from field operatives and end-customers and update schedules accordingly.
Monitoring & Communication:
Act as a primary point of contact for field operatives and end-customers, providing support and information and act as escalation point.
Supervise team consisting of Field Operatives and Scheduling Coordinators
Monitor the progress of ongoing jobs and update relevant systems.
Proactively identify, capture and report any potential delays, issues, or discrepancies.
Ability to liaise across multiple departments and teams.
Administrative Support:
Accurately validate call de-briefing data and manage call closures accordingly within the toolset.
Assist in preparing reports on field activity, job completion rates, and other key metrics.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the field operations team.
Interact with clients to confirm appointment details or provide basic updates, under supervision.
