We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled
Catering Equipment Field Service Engineer
to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and installation of equipment across various client locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, travelling to different sites, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain equipment at client sites in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime for clients.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of machinery.
Provide training and technical support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Document all service activities accurately in the company's systems and prepare detailed reports post-visit.
Liaise with the central office regarding scheduling, parts procurement, and technical updates.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies during all site visits and activities.
Assist in the development of service procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role within relevant industries.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly to clients.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple assignments effectively.
Flexibility to travel frequently and work at various client locations, sometimes outside regular hours.
Valid driver's licence is essential; additional certifications or specialised training are advantageous.
