The Enviro-Tek Group are currently looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer.

Formed in 2001, Enviro-Tek is a company that specialises in the supply of recycling and waste handling equipment nationwide. We have a strong commitment to providing an efficient service to our vast range of clients and are dedicated to ensuring the safety, reliability, and functionality of the equipment we provide. Equipment such as compactors, balers, and shredders, which are maintained by our engineers who carry out installations and servicing visits.



The position would primarily be covering the South-east areas, but on occasion would also require travelling further afield to the Midlands, Northeast and West when required. As a Field Service Engineer, you would be responsible for servicing, installing and repairing waste-handling equipment of various types. You will work closely with our valued clients, ensuring their machines are in optimal condition to meet their needs.

35k+ per annum (depending on experience) plus overtime, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities



Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of waste handling equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, providing effective solutions and repairs. Perform inspections and adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulations. Complete installations and commissioning of waste handling equipment. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of service requests. Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients. Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications/Requirements



Must have a good mechanical engineering and maintenance background. Familiar with electrics and mechanical components, hydraulics, 3-phase and control circuits. Previous experience as a field engineer on waste handling equipment is preferred but not essential. Manual handling and labour. Skilled in welding and hot works (not a requirement). Basic computer Literacy skills (word, excel). A full UK driving license. The ability to work well with others. Confident with communicating via telephone and face-to-face. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong mechanical aptitude. A commitment to safety, honesty, and integrity.
