Field Service Engineer

Location - Membury, RG17
Basic Salary: 30+ with overtime available - includes mobile phone. Overnight allowance available (although limited overnight requirement) Full training program provided which will include some time in Denmark at the manufacturing facility. Full clean driving license required

The Role:

Working week: Monday to Friday and Based at our Membury location, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing national business that is ramping up its sales and technical team over the next 24 months. Extensive UK travel and some International should be expected

A full training program is provided, including training of the full product line up at the manufacturing facility in Ulfborg, Denmark

You will work closely with the UK sales, service and management team, supporting new installations and both reactive and planned maintenance service to new and existing customers

Installing, repairing and maintaining machinery to manufacturers specifications for the UK customer base

Refurbishment of machinery is also a key part of the role, enabling the rental fleet to remain active, providing the UK Sales Team with a continual flow of machinery for the growing customer base

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have experience in dealing with machinery, working on your own initiative and possessing good interpersonal skills

An ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technology

A basic level of IT Skills to include standard Microsoft Office products

Experience in working with pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical is essential

Forklift and trailer license would be an advantage

Loyalty, a pride in your work and a natural desire for customer service is vital

Working autonomously, managing your time to maximise the field visits and administration required daily
