Due to on-going expansion and growth, Waste Spectrum are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven Field Service Engineer to support us with our UK customer base.
The key responsibilities include:
Commissioning new equipment at the customer's site.
Attending breakdowns that require electrical & mechanical fault diagnosis.
Repair, replace & maintain customer equipment to minimise downtime.
Work closely with the Engineering Manager to organise your own work schedule.
Completing key administrative tasks including engineering site report, keeping the CRM up-to-date, and liaising with Sales team to ensure follow up quotes are sent.
Training customers on new and existing equipment
Comply with legislation on the use of incineration equipment
Travel throughout the UK, with regular overnight stops.
Some key skills might include:
Experience working with both gas and diesel burning processes & burners.
Self-motivated and able to work by yourself, managing your own time.
Excellent verbal & written communication.
A methodical approach to work, with attention to detail.
Capable of meeting deadlines and managing a busy schedule, with the ability to adapt and act quickly in the events of breakdowns.
An in-depth awareness of health & safety
