We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems, troubleshooting issues, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties

Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems. Troubleshooting and repairing CRT monitors and other arcade machine electronics Sourcing and ordering parts for repairs Soldering components and repairing PCBs Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support. Maintain accurate records of service visits, including reports on equipment status and repairs performed. Provide training to clients on the proper use of equipment and software. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Skills

Strong technical aptitude with experience in engineering or related fields. Experience with CRT monitor repair, ideally with Hantarex, Wells Gardner or Nanao monitors Knowledge of switching power supplies and other arcade electronics Soldering skills Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the field. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting. A valid driving licence is essential with van driving experience minimum of 2 years for travel to client sites.
