OVERVIEW of ROLE

We are seeking the ideal candidate for the Field Service Engineer position. The successful applicant will operate within the Life Sciences Sector, working both as a team member and independently to provide servicing and repairs on our OEM customer pure water laboratory systems in highly regulated industries, such as the pharmaceutical sector. Should you possess the relevant engineering qualifications, HNC or above in either mechanical or electrical, along with the ability to manage digitally connected systems, and be committed to ongoing professional development in engineering, we encourage you to consider applying.

THE ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for the daily service and support for a range of OEM Lab Water purification systems.

Service, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of OEM products and equipment from the Lab Water purification system portfolio. Identify, analyse, and repair. Order and replace parts as necessary.

Ability to manage digitally connected systems and willingness to develop in this evolving field.

Perform service activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (EHS) and advise the customers about this system. Follow current company procedures and SOP/Guidelines.

Provide timely and accurate updates to the CRM (Service Max).

Manage own car stock (spare parts in stock/car) to maximise first-time fix rate without affecting the non-moving parts list.

Liaise with customers and other Rockson First personnel to support business development. Promote service activities, products, and solutions.

Maintain regular communication with Management.
