Your role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be Working in the field service team, and will be providing professional and efficient service of Air compressors & ancillary Equipment.





You will:




Performing routine and emergency maintenance on a wide range of compressed air equipment. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and ensuring a first-time fix for all but the unfixable equipment issues. Servicing customer equipment to the highest possible standard. Supporting field sales and technical support with knowledge of customer installations, equipment history, and any faults or issues as they arise. Using digital diagnostic tools to identify and rectify electrical and software-based faults Delivering accurate reporting of activities performed to the service admin and planning team, to ensure customers receive the most accurate and useful information As part of a on call rota , responding in a timely manner to emergency callouts for critical customers. Handing sales leads across to the sales team to support new equipment sales Keeping a clean and professional image whilst representing the business - vehicle, attire, working environment, customer equipment To be aware of and apply Health and Safety regulations and engineering best practices whilst working

To succeed, you will need

Required
+ A sound mechanical understanding, through qualification or equivalent experience, of at least one of the following technologies - Air/gas compressors
- Air/gas purification or distribution systems
- Air or fluid pumps, blowers or chillers
- Electrical diagnostics and wiring on industrial PLCs
- Refrigerant or desiccant dryer systems
+ A full UK driving licence, preferred clean (no endorsements, points or penalties)
+ A digital mindset with an ability to learn and leverage IT systems
+ Location Warrington
Desirable + Experience of multiple compressed air technologies + A combination of both electrical and mechanical knowledge, obtained either through qualification or experience
