Finance Accounting Specialist

Job Description

The Finance Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting the local and statutory reporting for Leasys UK Ltd. Responsibilities include management of data from multiple core applications, balance sheet management, and systems management. The position requires liaison with Group Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, ICT, and the external audit team.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Balance sheet management: timely monthly balance sheet reconciliation process, query resolution and associated quarterly reporting.

2. Support the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of Leasys results to local management.

3. Support AP/P2P function including AP invoices processing.

4. Support AR function on the key remarketing customer accounts allocation and reconciliation.

5. Support intercompany and related party reporting: ensure full monthly reconciliation and confirmation of all intercompany and related party balances.

6. Treasury: liaise with the Treasury Department regarding intercompany loans and derivatives reporting.

7. Preparation of ad-hoc financial reporting and MI.

8. Process improvement: drives process improvement within the Finance team and broader Leasys business where appropriate. Continually identifies opportunities for improvement manages relevant initiatives, monitors, and works collaboratively.

9. Systems knowledge (Miles operational systems and the Dataflow GL/P2P applications): continually enhances systems knowledge and deploys within the Finance team and broader business

10. Other ad hoc duties as required by management.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:



Qualified, finalist/part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA At least 5 years' experience in a relevant Finance/Accountancy role Essential: advanced Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage significant volumes of data; Business Objects experience is desirable
