We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our progressive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the company's accounting, dealing with client and supplier invoices, management of payroll and tax returns. The role would be most suited to a forward thinking individual who is comfortable working closely with the Managing Director in attaining the goals set out.
Responsibilities
Management of the company's payroll using Payroll Manager.
Creation of invoices for clients and processing of supplier invoices.
Filing of quarterly VAT returns.
Control of supplier and sundry payments.
Bank reconciliation.
Preparation of end of year accounts, for sign off by accountant.
Regular review of supplier prices and comparison against others.
Prepare and present financial reports, offering insights into business performance and opportunities for improvement.
General administrative duties.
Requirements
Good understanding/proficiency in SAGE accounts software
Strong knowledge of cost control practices and accounts payable processes.
Previous role in finance essential
Experience within the construction industry preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical skills, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
