We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to support the financial operations of our organisation. This part-time role is key to ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and smooth financial processes. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, with a strong grasp of financial systems and a commitment to transparency and efficiency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Bookkeeping
Prepare and issue invoices to clients, tenants, or funders
Record and reconcile income and expenditure
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
Financial Reporting
Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and funders
Support preparation of year-end accounts and audits
Track financial performance against budgets
Budget Management
Assist in monitoring and managing organisational budgets
Provide budget updates and forecasts to senior staff
Support funding applications with financial data
Payroll & Expenses
Process payroll and pension contributions (in-house or via external provider)
Manage staff expense claims and petty cash/float systems
Ensure compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
Float & Financial Systems
Maintain and reconcile float systems for staff and programme use
Monitor and report on cash flow
Support financial policy development and compliance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 14.00 per hour

Experience:
Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
