Are you organised, good with numbers, and keen to use your skills to make a real difference? We're looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Older People Services team, where you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.


This isn't just about balancing figures. It's about being part of a team that makes sure older people feel secure, supported and valued. The work you do with budgets, invoices and admin will have a direct impact on the quality of care we can provide every day.

What you'll do





Handle day-to-day finance tasks, including invoices, petty cash, reconciliations, and service user finances Keep accurate records of income and expenditure, supporting the Service Manager with up-to-date budget information Process expenses, donations, and banking transactions in line with our procedures Provide admin support, from managing diaries and minutes to maintaining records and welcoming visitors Liaise with colleagues, service users, families, and external agencies in a friendly, professional way

What you'll bring



You'll have experience of working with financial information and systems, supported by a good understanding of financial procedures. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). You'll also be highly organised, accurate, and confident working to deadlines independently. Alongside this, you'll bring a professional yet warm manner and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, service users, carers and external professionals.

As this post involves working with vulnerable people, membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required. Respect for the Christian ethos of CrossReach is also essential.

As part of the interview process, there will be a 45 minute test using Microsoft Word and Excel to give you the chance to demonstrate your skills.

You will also need to become amember of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
