Trust Location: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation (FORCE Cancer Charity)
Role type: Temporary for 6 weeks with possibility of extension and permanent opportunity
What you'll be responsible for:
Assist with processing income from various sources and writing thank you letters to supporters and preparation of cash and cheques in readiness for banking collection
Assist with posting purchase invoices and setting up new suppliers and bank reconciliations
Working with Fundraising Team to assist with admin tasks as required/ appropriate for this post and processing gift aid declarations
General filing of finance/admin documentation and logging maintenance issues with Estates
Assist with monthly and quarterly stock takes and ordering of stock and monitoring petty cash levels and maintaining ad hoc floats as required
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Competent with Microsoft office programmes particularly Excel
