JOB TITLE:

Finance Administrator

HOURS OF WORK:

Part Time - At least 24 hours per week, exact days to be finalised upon appointment. At least 12 hours per week to be spent in the synagogue office

SALARY:

30,000 - 32,500 per annum (pro-rata), commensurate with experience

Finchley United Synagogue (Kinloss) is a large and dynamic community with approximately 1,000 households (1,700 adult members and 1,250 children under the age of 21) across the age and religious spectrum. The Shul embraces communal diversity and celebrates spiritual growth. We are a modern orthodox community catering to a varied membership. Over the course of a Shabbat, we can expect several hundred individuals to come to Kinloss for our different services and programmes. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional Finance Administrator to join the Kinloss office team. The ideal candidate will pro-actively manage and maintain all aspects of financial accounting for Kinloss; always ensuring that a high level of customer service is delivered to the community, whilst actively promoting the United Synagogue in each local community. The post-holder will possess strong administrative and finance experience and effective customer care skills. He/she must be able to demonstrate strong computing skills including intranet-based systems, databases, Microsoft Office. Applicants should also be fun with a positive demeanour and a passion for the work.
